Mike Light Buggy # 177The youngest son, Mike, has 20 years of helping his dad on the race truck or watching him on the track like his brother, Dan Jr. 3 years ago, Mike decided to build and fund an off road car of his own. He started his rookie season in 2004, his high school graduation year. Mike quickly became known on the track for his very fast and often very wild driving style, earning a trip to the Antigo, WI emergency room while running away with his 2nd career race. Many more heart breakers (and bone breakers) followed. In 2006, after 2 1/2 years and a handful of podium finishes, Mike finally celebrated his first career win in round 8 at Bark River, MI. Now 20 years old, Mike works at Flying Dutchman Off Road as the fabrication leader. Mike spends his time building off road chassis, headers, and custom parts as well as helping out on his Dad's Pro 2 and Brother's Pro Lite. He is very committed to the sport and to the team, and patiently waits for the opportunity to build and race a pro truck of his own.
